The Casey Cohort

We are an environmental epidemiology lab at the University of Washington focused on environmental justice and sustainability.

We study the relationship between emerging climate-related exposures and population health across the lifecourse, using large secondary datasets, including electronic health record data. Our areas of focus include climate-related exposures such as wildfires, ambient temperature, and power outages; social and environmental determinants of health; environmental justice; the energy transition; and just climate policy development. We also support people working in adjacent fields.
